Paperchase Blogger Event 02/03/16 | #BCboutique

Hello all!

You may remember that back in November, I was honoured to be invited to a blogger event at the Tottenham Court Road Paperchase store. Excitingly, I was invited to attend a second event, which took place on Wednesday 2nd March!

I set off for London early in the morning, as I was going to be meeting my friends Daisy and Joey for a bit of shopping in Covent Garden. We had a lovely time!

After our little shopping trip, it was time for Daisy and I to head to the event. When we arrived, Anna was helping to set up, as she was going to be running the creative planning workshop for us! We chatted to the lovely PR ladies and took some photos before everyone else arrived.

The event began with a talk from the lovely Paperchase buyers, who took us on a little tour of some of the new collections. Parties and gatherings are a new focus; with a gorgeous neon line from Talking Tables, and some absolutely beautiful new wedding collections that may or may not have made me want to put a little proposal-pressure on my boyfriend ;) We then had a little look at some beautiful new office storage, my favourite being the wire baskets, and new stationery from American Crafts, Ban.do and Kate Spade. Swoon!

After the talk from the buyers, we had a little craft demo from Talking Tables. Their set up was gorgeous, and they taught us how to make cotton hanging cages for plants like succulents, or other decorations. I'm a huge fan of succulents so I loved this! Unfortunately I forgot to snap a photo, but I do have footage of the demo in the video at the end of this post. After this, we had a quick refreshment break, before Anna's workshop began!

The table was set out with beautiful cardstock, papers, washi and postcards, and Anna explained that we would be making dashboards and pockets for a new planner, that Paperchase had so kindly gifted us.

Anna walked everyone through the process step-by-step, and it was so much fun. I've made dashboards before, however it was brilliant to see the girls who were new to planning, as they were excited about it too and really enjoying themselves! After we'd all finished, we got to "set-up" our planners, using the bits we'd made, and also some paperclips and a budget planning pack that we were also gifted. I love how it looks!

That brings us to the end; just like November I had a fabulous time, and will hopefully be able to attend future events! Paperchase always put on a great workshop and this planner focused-event in particular was brilliant. Anna did such a great job with the creative planning class!

I bought some bits and bobs at the store and we were also given a goody bag; you can see all of this, as well as footage from the day, in the video below.

If you have any questions please let me know, and I'd like to say a huge thank you to Paperchase for another fabulous event!
